Eucharest

I attended Anglican church as a child, was baptized a few years ago in a non-denominational church.
My husband is in the process of being confirmed in the Catholic church. I am just not interested in the Catholic church and have been considering attending our local Episcopalian church.
My question is - can I take communion when I go the the Episcopalian church or is it like the Catholic church and I have to prove that I was baptized first?

It depends on the church, but most mainstream Episcopal churches in the US welcome all baptized Christians to the Table, regardless of previous experience or previous affiliation. In my hippy-dippy church (in Anchorage, Alaska), the priest makes a point of inviting ALL people. Some churches say all confirmed Episcopalians. That said, I've never been to a church where they check your credentials at the Communion rail.

I suppose the best thing to do would be to call... I have heard that the church in our area is a bit on the conservative side.

The important phrase I hear at our Episcopal Church is:

    " All are welcome at God's table " ..

Every Episcopalian church I have ever been to, in several different states, has welcomed any baptized christian, of *any* denomination, to take the Eucharist. And furthermore, that was always done sorta on the "honour system" - -that is, no one in my experience ever asked someone to *prove* they had been baptized.
